Excellent room with a lovely view. The TV had UK TV channels, which was a nice surprise! There are hot tubs x 4 between each accommodation building. Breakfast buffet had hot and cold foods, and was replenished regularly. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant- menu is limited but the dishes were very good. As with everywhere else in Iceland, the prices were on the expensive side. The hotel is not far from the attractions of the Golden Circle and Selfoss.

Clean nicely decorated rooms, food was good in the restaurant both at breakfast and in the evening. Staff were friendly helpful and welcoming. Facilities really good , enough storage (especially in the bathroom), a large fridge, kettle, small hairdryer, safe, nice terrace which allowed excellent views of the northern lights one night, shared hot tubs were an nice bonus although the air temp was too cold for us to brave the few steps from the door to the hot tubs without lots of layers.Plenty of parking, really nice layout of the complex. Highly recommend if you are looking for a golden circle hotel.

We have been already three times in the pass few years. The staff is very kind, the hotel is nicely decorated, very good breakfast and restaurant. Perfect location to visit the golden circle.

Hotel Grimsborgir was wonderful! The staff were exceptional and friendly. They even notified us when to go outside to see the northern lights. Our apartment was spacious for 7 adults and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was great and a definite plus! We ate dinner there a few times after a long day and it was delicious.

It was by far the best hotel we stayed in , hot tubs were wonderful, we enjoyed each night. Breakfast was luxurious and varied with lots of choices. The front desk people were great, we had our laundry done while there, and it came back clean and perfectly folded and quick! The room felt very luxurious. The robes were great for going to the hot tub. The hotel is a bit remote, so it would have been a good place to see the Northern lights, had it been clear skies.

Arrival and checkout was super easy, room was cozy and faced north, which helped so much as we hoped to see the northern lights. We used the wake-up call service for the north lights, and it was precise and helpful. We could see the lights dancing from our beds. I unfortunately forgot something in the room, and they were super helpful in the communication and shipment of my stuff to my home town. The hot tubes were also a plus and it made our stay even better!

The place was beautiful and spacious. We loved the hot tub and views and the excellent buffet breakfast that was included. Our 5 bedroom unit felt private even though we were attached to another unit. Lots of nice space to hang out in.

Fantastic facilities, hot tub was a plus! Rooms were spacious and the living area was lovely for group hang-outs. Breakfast was delicious - such a spread.

Location ,breakfast,reception,place value everything was more than perfect also the staff were more than friendly and co-operative. Furthermore, they helped us with our plan which we did for the activities and the place we want to see by booking and advising. The hotel is in the countryside but you will find a markts and resturats along with gas stations very nearby.

It was clean, warm and comfortable, a great relief to come inside when the weather hit -15. The location, on the Golden Circle route, made it really handy too.
